Cycling Calculators
FTP and power-zone calculators, power-to-weight ratio, speed-and-power estimates, training stress score (TSS), critical power, and gearing — the cycling math road racers and time-triallists rely on, all in your browser.
FTP & Zones
Estimate FTP from a test and get your 7 Coggan power zones.
OpenPower-to-Weight
Work out your W/kg from FTP and see where you rank.
OpenSpeed ⇄ Power
Convert watts to speed (or back) from a physics model.
OpenTSS & IF
Quantify a session from power, FTP, and duration.
OpenGear Calculator
Gear ratio, gear inches, roll-out, and speed at any cadence.
OpenCritical Power
Find CP/critical speed and your W′ from two efforts.
OpenQuestions
How do I set my power zones?
Run an FTP test (or use a recent 20-minute effort), enter your FTP into the FTP & power-zone calculator, and it splits your training into the standard Coggan zones from active recovery to neuromuscular power.
Why does power-to-weight matter on climbs?
On a sustained climb you are mostly fighting gravity, so watts per kilogram predicts climbing speed far better than raw watts. The power-to-weight calculator shows your W/kg and where it sits among rider categories.
Are these cycling calculators free?
Yes — all free, no account, and free to use in your browser.
